It has become one of the most sought-after and talked about treatments in aesthetic skincare.

Microchanneling creates tiny perforations in the skin that initiate a natural healing response. These perforations cause a healing cascade that produces new collagen and elastin resulting in firmer, healthier skin.

In the last few years, Microchanneling has made a huge splash because of how effective it is and how quickly it works.  With as few as one treatment, Microchanneling has been shown to improve the quality of the skin. A series of treatments will improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, age-spots/sunspots, laxity and stretch marks.  And it also may stimulate hair regrowth for balding men and women!

As part of our launch of Procell Therapies Microchanneling, DVDG is offering a very special introductory rate of $195.00 (regularly $325.00) for your first treatment. Buy a package of five during the introductory period and you'll pay just $150.00 for each procedure.  This pricing is available for a limited time only.

Apparently, we have a great reputation among Miss Delaware USA contestants.  Who knew?
At least that what's we were told by this year's title holder, Katie Guevarra.  Katie came to us shortly after her big win and asked for help getting and keeping her gorgeous glow during her reign and in preparation for competing in the national event coming up this November.  We're so excited for her that we are quite literally counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until her big moment on November 9th. (You may have noticed our countdown clock.)  Why all the fuss? Well, since she began consulting with our director of aesthetics, Raquel Valdez, RN BSN, we've gotten the chance to get to know her and the simple fact is we like her-- a whole lot.

She's beautiful, obviously.  But she is also really, really smart, articulate, exactingly professional, totally focused, thoughtful and -- wait for it-- yes, super duper nice.  This is a woman you've just gotta admire and root for.

Katie has worked hard for this and we want it for her.  So, we're cheering her on and counting down the days with fingers and toes crossed.  Katie, go out there and bring that fancy new Miss USA crown home to Delaware.   We're so proud and happy to be on your team.

This is a confusing time for all of us as we try to make prudent choices to safeguard wellbeing and limit the spread of the Corona virus.  We would like everyone to know that we are not winging this.  We are taking our lead from the Delaware Medical Society working in conjunction with the Delaware Department of Public Health (DPH).  For the past two weeks, our chief operating officer has been on a nightly (now reduced to weekly) conference call for healthcare providers and office managers. The information gleaned from those calls has been used to set policy in this office.
Some have wondered if we should be open at all.  The answer is yes. Our patients still need us and guidance from DPH indicates that we should remain available in person, or telephonically, as appropriate.  Please, use good judgement in deciding whether or not your needs can be met via Skype, FaceTime, or over the phone. Call us if you are unsure. Also know that while the most stringent HIPAA requirements (having to do with the highest levels of electronic encryption) have been relaxed during this crisis, we always have your privacy in mind and all electronic visits will be conducted in private.

We will post updates as appropriate.  Hang in there, folks.

Be Well. Stay Safe!

Due to safety concerns during the COVID-19 public health emergency, we are pleased and relieved to announce that we are now able to offer telehealth virtual office visits to patients whose concerns can be met remotely.  Examples would include routine follow-up visits, acne,  psoriasis care, poison ivy exposure, and wound checks. We will be scheduling teledermatology appointments daily between the hours of 1 pm and 5 pm. Your scheduler will further discuss with you the appropriatesness of a remote visit. Teledermatology appoinments are now covered by all major health insurers and Medicare, and the commercial carriers we surveyed are waiving co-pays and co-insurance during this crisis to encourage all those who can stay home,to do so. (Deductibles will still apply.)

Your virtual office visit will be conducted via Skype, Facetime for apple phone users, or any mobile phone device for audio only.  Photographs may be submitted in advance of your appointment through our email: [email protected]  Please have your insurance information available when you phone to schedule.

At present, teledermatology services are available to currently established patients only.   We are hoping to be able to expand these services to new patients in the future.

Book now.  Starting June 21st, 2019, you will be able to get appointments Monday through mid-day Fridays with Julie Cherico, PA-C.  Julie will have completed her intensive year of one-on-one training with Dr. Saruk and will be ready to take on the worst you've got and get you better.  She will also be fresh from her honeymoon as the newly minted Mrs. J.J. Sims.   So feel free to offer her your congratulations.  She's having a very big year.  And we're thrilled she's spending it here with us.
