Ms. Kristen Fitzpatrick is a highly experienced Physician Assistant with extensive specialty training in dermatology, plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. She comes to us from the University of Pennsylvania where she founded the hand transplantation program (a sub-specialty area for plastic and reconstructive surgery) and chaired the selection committee for transplant recipients.
Ms. Fitzpatrick began her formal education at the University of Notre Dame earning a bachelor's of science degree in biology and minoring in theology with a focus on biomedical ethics. Thereafter she entered the Physician Assistant Program at Arcadia University where she graduated with a Masters of Medical Science-- having achieved high honors in all rotations including notably, dermatology and plastic surgery. Her outstanding performance in these areas enabled her to move directly from Arcadia to dual employment in the fields of dermatology; and occuloplastics and reconstructive surgery.
We are extremely pleased that Ms. Fitzpatrick chose to leave hand transplantation and return to work within her primary areas of interest. A skilled and compassionate practioner, Ms. Fitzpatrick cares for patients with both general dermatologic and cosmetic concerns. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc.; medically licensed in the states of Delaware, and New Jersey and by the Medical Board of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
